The project included a complete interior renovation, exterior remodel, and a new entry addition. The biggest challenge of this 32,000sf renovation project was to incorporate the identities of the two tenants while providing access in a shared atrium space. Deacon Construction needed an open but fairly quiet environment while the other tenant, Elliot and Associates, wanted a very open interactive environment.

Based on an oriental/nature design theme, we allowed the outside landscape to flow into the lobby and then define a path to both tenants. The glass elevator, the outside wall, allows daylight to penetrate the lobby and adds a sculptural element that enhances the space.
