Sustainability

Our design experience in sustainability began 26 years ago with the largest solar-heated school west of the Rockies, Sunridge Middle School.

We are a founding member of The Oregon Natural Step; One of the original members of the US Green Building Council (1996).

In conjunction with PGE we designed one of Oregon's first documented sustainable buildings - Swindells Hall at the University of Portland and in 2010 completed the LEED Platinum Shiley Hall on that campus.

Today we continue to champion buildings for environmental and social accountability. We currently have 11 LEED™ projects in design or construction and are dedicated to promoting continued socially conscious design.
